Monday Menu Plan

I am trying to get back into the habit of planning my menus better since the Holidays got me off track....with that said, Here is our menu for the week:

Monday:
  • Breakfast:Cereal, bananas, juice, coffee for mom
  • Lunch: PB & J on HM bread, baby carrots w/ranch, juice or milk
  • Dinner:Spaghetti, Salad, HM Garlic Bread(was going to be a southern meal in honor of MLK Jr, but we ended up having that last night at dh's request)

Tuesday:
  • Breakfast: hard boiled eggs & toast, juice, coffee for mom
  • Lunch: Leftover Spaghetti, bread
  • Dinner: Taco night (make enough for lunch on Wed)

Wednesday:
  • Breakfast: Strawberry Smoothies, toast, coffee for mom
  • Lunch: Tostadas (with leftovers)
  • Dinner: Fried Fish, HM Mac n Cheese, Veggies

Thursday:
  • Breakfast: Scrambled eggs w/cheese, toast, juice, coffee for mom
  • Lunch: Out with friends
  • Dinner:Crock-pot Chicken, Brown Rice, Green Beans

Friday:
  • Breakfast: Pancakes, milk, coffee for mom
  • Lunch: Chicken tacos (with some of the leftover chicken)
  • Dinner:Pizza night at friends house

Saturday:
  • Breakfast: Muffins, Smoothies, coffee for mom
  • Lunch: PB&J, chips, juice
  • Dinner: Crockpot- Chicken Soup, HM dinner rolls (use leftover chicken from Thurs, make broth from bones on Friday)
Sunday:

  • Breakfast- Fried potatoes, Eggs, Grits, toast, bacon
  • Lunch- (whatever Dh wants to cook )
  • Dinner- Crockpot- Beans, Rice, Cornbread
**Snacks are usually once a day (mid afternoon) and always whatever fruit we have, applesauce, yogurt, HM cookies w/ milk or cheese sticks.**

  1. Sounds yummy. I hate meal planning. Why is that? Maybe cause I always change my mind and then I'm not in the mood for what I had planned and it staring at me defrosted. LOL.
