With the heat starting to set in here in Southern Ca, my menus are going to start changing. Adding in more fresh veggies and fruits are going to make much more sense than soups and stews, so I need to get on the ball and get more creative. Just today, I have been discussing Once- A-Month- Cooking on my discussion board and am planning on a session sometime in May. I will be sharing my plans as they come about and any ideas you have are welcomed as well. I know that I like having a theme for each night and will more than likely stick to that, but being pregnant with baby #4 is causing my brain to scream simplicity so I am going to listen..lol.
Anyways, here's what we are having for dinner this week (subject to change to mama's exaggerated 5 senses this week ;P )
Monday: Grilled NY Steak, Baked Potatoes, sweet Corn
Tuesday: Chicken Fajitas, re-fried beans
Wednesday: Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches, HM fries (to do: Soak beans and rice overnight for Thurs)
Thursday: Beans, Rice, Cornbread
Friday: Dinner out , Pizza at a Friends
Saturday: HM Cheeseburgers, Green Salad
